Jill is from Allentown, PA and joined the Susquehannock staff in 2020.

She graduated from West Virginia University (Morgantown, WV) (Let’s Go Mountaineers!) where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Teaching and has certificates in Elementary and Special Education. She earned her Master’s degree in Educational Technology from Wilkes University (Wilkes-Barre, PA).

Jill brings 27 years of teaching experience to the team. During her time as a teacher she worked with diverse populations of students, ranging from elementary to high school ages and include special education students with various intellectual, emotional, and language challenges. She also spent 5 years teaching intellectually gifted students. She enjoys nature and considers herself an environmentalist. She has written environmental science curriculum for the Pennsylvania Game Commission.

Jill has a wealth of experience in organizing activities and programs for youth. Many of her programs brought disadvantaged children to hike in the woods and play in a creek for their first time. She also planned and chaperoned annual trips for these children to visit and explore Washington, DC. She is married and has 2 children, all of whom will be at camp this summer!

Special interests include Hiking, Camping, Backpacking, Peak Bagging and Visiting National Parks
