13 Jul We set up Bat Houses on Tumble Inn and The Ship to help address the dwindling bat population; 6 million bats have died in the last decade as a result of White-Nose Syndrome. Bats help us out in many ways: they eat moths, flies, mosquitoes and beetles – help pollinate plants – and have NOTHING to do with vampires. Pennsylvania is home to 9 out of a possible 1,300 species of bat; ⅕ of all mammals are bats! Check out batweek.org for more info#CampSus2016
