For the past two years, the Susquehannock community has been up to something truly special. Through generous volunteer efforts, either by serving as a fundraising volunteer or by donating funds, individuals in this group have managed to help raise over $41,000 for the Scholarship Fund through the Camp Susquehannock Alumni Challenge. Participants across generations have heeded the call to help preserve and share the Camp Susquehannock experience with young men and women who otherwise could not afford it. We could not be more grateful.
However, we still have more history to make. This year, the Third Annual Camp Susquehannock Alumni Challenge aims to raise $25,000 and we need your help. Fundraising will tip-off on Monday, March 14, 2016 and last until Saturday, April 9, 2016. As is tradition, we will celebrate the end of the Challenge on that Saturday, April 9th, with a field day at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy.
In order to hit this ambitious goal, we hope to have fifty active fundraising volunteers, twenty five men and twenty five women, within the four week Challenge period. Let’s make this happen! If you are interested in becoming a fundraiser or have any questions, please e-mail us for details!
Lest we forget, the Alumni Challenge score is currently tied one-to-one between Team S4B and Team S4G. Who will take the lead in 2016?
If you are unable to volunteer, please consider making a donation so that children from varying economic, cultural, and geographic backgrounds can find out how Summer Lasts a Lifetime at Susquehannock.
